Jung Jidon debuted in 2013 with the story “The Blind Owl” which won Literature and Society magazine’s New Writers’ Award. He has received the 2015 Munhak Dongne Young Writers’ Award and the 2016 Moonji Literary Award. He has authored two short story collections, As if I’m Fighting and We Shall Survive in the Memories of Others; a collection of literary criticism, The Joy of Literature; an essay collection, Cinema and Poetry; and two novels, A Little Coward’s New Cowardly Party and Diary of a Night Watchman.
